The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Consumer Protection Act “DTPA” allows Texas consumers of good and services certain rights against those persons or businesses who engage in deceptive or illegal conduct.

The act also allows for consumers to recover their attorney’s fees, their expenses and, in some cases, up to three times their economic damages when it can be established that the other party acted intentionally in carrying out the deceptive or illegal conduct.

I have experience in prosecuting these claims and have handled DTPA claims involving faulty home foundations, defective products, defective services, the performance of unnecessary services and many more.
